Jet-Setters with a deep love of travel and experiencing new cultures, New Yorkers Jess and Rob have high fashion style and a wicked sense of humor

"I chose to work with Shannon despite her being in San Francisco because I loved her taste and she understood that I wanted Rob and my personalities to shine through.

I can’t say enough about Shannon and her team. As a New Yorker and a micromanager who chose the somewhat risky destination of Dubrovnik, Croatia for our wedding, Shannon delivered a flawless event that was romantic, tasteful and fun.

She dove in and executed exactly what my husband and I envisioned with blunt honesty but also an incredible sense of humor." ~ Jessica

Rob proposed to Jessica under a trellis overlooking the Adriatic Sea at a boutique hotel in Dubrovnik.  The two decided on the spot that they would fly all their loved ones out to Croatia to wed in that exact location.

With guests coming from all over the world, we wanted to create a memorable travel experience that would highlight the beauty of Croatia and just generally be a ridiculously good time.

Guests walked from their hotel through the old city to a rooftop restaurant in downtown Dubrovnik.

Dinner was hosted on a rooftop overlooking the city.  We used subtle modern, gothic details such as the gold metallic skull menu cards, that gave the evening a sexy, moody vibe.

Guests enjoyed a multi-course dinner  including gnocchi in a truffle sauce, leg of lamb and dark chocolate cake with beautiful Croatian wines.

Moody invitations with a custom designed crest for the couple set the tone for the wedding day.

Bridesmaids were outfitted in beautiful patterned robes for getting ready by the sea.  Jessica gifted her ladies coral necklaces scooped up in a favorite Dubrovnik boutique as a thank you for being part of the day.

Guests donned rosemary boutonnierres, a traditional Croatian custom.

The couple's friend officiated a beautiful, humorous ceremony and the couple wrote their own vows.

Bridesmaids and Mom wore varying shades of the color palette for their attire.

Traditional Croatian dancers led guests from the cocktail reception to dinner.  Guests joined in on the fun before they were invited to sit

The trellis at Villa Orsula was adorned with a variety of beautiful flowers and hanging candles to create an installation overhead.  The guests sat at two long tables and had a beautiful meal including Adriatic Sea risotto in a champagne cream sauce, John Dory fillet on lemon mash and vanilla cake with figs and ice cream.

After dinner, guests retreated to the terrace lounge where a local DJ played into the wee hours of the morning.

On Sunday, the party continued with a chartered boat to a private island for brunch and a dance party.

The boat made swimming stops on the way back where guests dove into the Adriatic to cap off the weekend.
